Triple Tube Core Barrel

Use:

For approximately 100% core recovery, the Triple Tube Core Barrel is utilized for mineral research, geotechnical study, diamond core drilling, soil analysis, testing of high-rise construction foundations, and exploration of dams and bridges.

Method:

The reaming shell, diamond core bit, and core lifter casing are taken out once the triple tube barrel has been taken out of the drill hole. The third, or split tube, is forced out using a piston mechanism after air or water is poured into the head. The top half of the split tube is then raised, showing the core in its original state.
